Research on the Surfactant-Assisted Synthesis of MnZn Ferrite Precursor Powders

MnZn ferrite precursor powders were prepared by the nano in situ composite method. Three surfactants, which include polyethylene glycol 400 (PEG-400), cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB), and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), usedM impact of surfactants on sol solutions was studied. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, Raman a field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), transmission (TEM), Zeta potential meter, BET surface analyzer, vibrational sample magnetometer (VSM) used to characterize powders. The results showed that these can improve dispersion state potentials particles increase specific areas Moreover, composed ferrite, some amorphous. CTAB optimum surfactant zeta area named P-0.1CTAB are 10.7 mV 129.07 m2/g, respectively. In addition, nano-particles made up had smaller sizes more uniform particle distributions than others. magnetic properties’ improvement attributed addition is optimal type. novel method will inspire fresh thinking investigation into research ferrite.
